March has been quite the whirlwind so far! At the beginning of the month, I flew to sunny Florida for beautiful bride Karolina's wedding. Naturally, I wanted to share the makeup I did for her big day so I hope you all enjoy a glimpse into the glam.
Now, as someone who rarely wears makeup, this bride wanted a soft and natural look and the end result was youthful, glowing and absolutely stunning. I've always believed that makeup should emphasize your best features while making you look (and feel) like the best version of yourself, particularly on a day as important and memorable as your wedding day.
After consulting with the bride, I knew just the look she was going for. I focused on clean and even skin as well as subtly accentuated eyes, lips & cheeks.

I was lucky enough to have a ton of space for my kit.
Prior to foundation application, I cleansed and moisturized the bride's skin. Next, I applied foundation, under eye concealer and brightening powder underneath to set. I emphasized her cheeks with a very light peachy blush and contoured subtly. I also filled in her amazing natural brows with a powder. For the bride's eyes, I chose taupe, brown and champagne shades and coated her lashes with several layers of mascara. I filled in her lips with lip liner and went over that with a bit of lipstick (to make sure they would last through cake and kisses!). I set the rest of her makeup with a translucent powder. She loved it and felt gorgeous!
